Simple Element Removal

Reduced Redundancy

Literature

Should individual filter elements require maintenance or eventual cloth replacement, they can be easily removed from the flowstream without the need to discontinue influent flow to the whole filter or divert the waste stream. Flow simply needs to be discontinued to the individual element while all other filter elements remain on-line, providing continued wastewater filtration while maintenance is performed.

This simplified manitenance process provides a convienient and non-intrusive means of providing periodic maintenance without causing undo stress to the operators, mechanism, or upstream processes.

By allowing elements to be removed while flow continues to the other elements, full equipment redundancy can be eliminated in some situations, reducing installed equipment cost.
