Sept '09 - MFC Introduces Statiks™ line of Cloth Media Filters:
MFC has introduced the Statiks™ line of static plate cloth media filters, which includes the recently developed 'mini' version
of its innovative Muni-Disk® filter system as well as several new, smaller packaged & skid mounted systems.
Statiks™ filters utilize similar hydraulic and operational principles as the larger Muni-Disk®filters, but in sizes ranging from 20,000 gpd
to a maximum 200,000 gpd @ ADF. Systems come completely assembled, often on skids, and are perfect for residential
developments & mobile home parks with minimal operational staff, as well as industrial applications and other applications
where a reliable, efficient, small flow package is needed for tertiary filtration.
Fall '08 - MFC Introduces new, smaller version of Muni-Disk:
MFC has introduced the Muni-Disk Mini, a smaller, more compact version of its innovative filter system.
Equipment is designed to handle average daily flows of 35-150gpm, more appropriately sized for smaller
residential developments, industrial applications, or smaller communities with flows below 200,000 gpd.
The new filter includes all the same features and efficiencies of the full-scale Muni-Disk filters,
including 100% Stainless Steel tankage, Zero moving parts, simple element removal and media replacement,
and complete package options.
Aug '07 - MFC Featured in MMSD Newsletter: MFC and the Muni-Disk® filter were featured
in an article in the Summer 2007 issue of
The Metro Interceptor
, the monthly newsletter from Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District. The Muni-Disk® filter pilot unit has
been set up out at MMSD from '06 through the summer of '07 for operational and process testing. See Pg 9 of

copy.
Aug-Oct '06 - MFC Demonstrates Full-Scale Pilot: MFC has installed and operated its full-scale
pilot filter (4-disk base module) and successfully treated flows up to 800,000 gpd at Madison's local POTW.
Initial testing was performed in Fall of 2006 and continues through spring and summer of 2007. Testing results
of the full-scale unit are available in the Testing Update Newsletter available on our
downloadspage.
The unit has since been mounted to a trailer and made available for piloting and demonstration at plants
throughout the U.S.
