Reduced Maintenance - Simple OperationMFC's Cloth Media Filters feature the industry's
first fixed cloth media filter plate design for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater.
These innovative cloth media filters utilize unique hydraulics and the latest cloth filter media
technology to remove suspended solids (TSS), turbidity (NTU), and Phosphrous (P) from secondary
process streams.
Using a combination of already available gravity head and a small amount of compressed
air allows MFC's cloth media filter systems to work WITHOUT pumps, drive motors, chain gears, high-pressure
spray bars, backwash/sludge manifolds, or ANY other mechanical wear items. This results in a uniquely simple,
effective, and operator friendly cloth media tertiary treatment system.
MFC's cloth media filter systems use a combination of differential head and a series of simple open-close
pneumatic valves to provide wastewater filtration & backwash flow control. Vertically placed cloth
media panels reduce equipment footprint and installation expense.
MFC's cloth media filter systems offer proven performance in a wide range of flows and applications. 100% stainless steel
Packaged systems
are available for flows from 10gpm to 6.0 MGD. Modular components are available for installation into new
and existingConcrete Tanks and Basins.
ALL internal equipment, tankage and media elements are fabricated from 100% stainless steel for
long life and reduced maintenance.
