Municipal Filtration Company (MFC) has introduced the Muni-Disk®, the first 'fixed-disk' cloth media filter for wastewater treatment. Patented hydraulics and innovative cloth media technology are combined to eliminate pumps, drive motors, chain gears, high-pressure spray bars, backwash/sludge manifolds, and other mechanical wear items, resulting in a uniquely simple, yet surprisingly effective tertiary treatment system in a compact, efficient package.

Muni-Disk® systems use a combination of differential head and a series of simple open-close valves to provide wastewater filtration & backwash flow control. Vertically placed cloth media panels reduce equipment footprint and installation expense.

The Muni-Disk® cloth media filter offers a wastewater tertiary treatment and reuse solution in a compact, mechanically simple, yet versitile filtration system.
